Here are some of the references of which have helped shape my understanding of reality and truth. I do not guarentee the accuracy of these references but will recommend them for self-development in light of greater understanding of all things.  As controversial as some of them may seem, the validity of these references appear founded on reason and for the overall benefit of human kind. Whatever the truth of these, I agree atleast they help in the pursuit of truth and for removing the veil of propagander that has plagued human kind for centuries.

Also for clarification, these are only references of which I have personally read or are in the process of reading. No items of interest beyond what I have atleast tasted will be presented here, for it would be irresponsible for me to provide links to references I myself have not yet considered.
