Tags & Links

Within all posts I attempt to manually add an array of related tags and corresponding links throughout the given text. This is to make navigation throughout this site alot more natural and providing links to an array of related articles dependent on the tags available.

I must emphasise the manual component of this process, so depending on the article you will notice the use of different tags and available links provided.

When I develop tags I try to use all words relating to this article, including its title, category and the words provided within the text. I then develop links to tag categories within the text associated with these words which displays all available post which share that particular tag.

Because I have chosen to develop the internal link within these articles to default to these tag categories, I have developed a small context in respect to other links provided in the article which do not correspond to tags.

This context uses symbols following the link to identify which type of link is made available

♦ this symbol identifies links which are internal to this blog but run outside of the tag categories
♣ this symbol identifies links which are external of this blog (ie. other websites)

All other links, without symbols are just standard links which relate to corresponding tag categories.
